Trip Form Workflow & Draft Ergonomics
Goal:
Enable unblocked minimal drafts and remove misleading defaults.
Work Packages
- Switch default status from confirmed to draft in tripFormModel.ts and TripsPage.tsx.
- Remove plusOneHourInput() auto-fill logic on empty end times.
- Relax required attribute on odometer_end and end fields for draft submissions in TripFormCard.tsx.
- Split the action area into two buttons: "Save Draft" and "Confirm Trip".
- Update info modal copy to accurately reflect that confirmed trips can still be edited with an audit reason before period lock.
